Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Qaf. By the Glorious Qur'an, 1 Nay, but they marvel that a warner has come to them from among them; and the unbelievers say, 'This is a marvellous thing! 2 Why - [how could we be resurrected] after we have died and become mere dust? Such a return seems far-fetched indeed!" 3 We already know how much of them the earth takes away: With Us is a record guarding (the full account). 4 But they deny the Truth when it comes to them: so they are in a confused state. 5 Do they not look at the sky above them?- How We have made it and adorned it, and there are no flaws in it? 6 And the earth, We have made it plain and cast in it mountains and We have made to grow therein of all beautiful kinds, 7 To give sight and as a reminder to every servant who turns frequently (to Allah). 8 We also sent down blessed water from the heaven, wherewith We caused gardens and harvest-grain to grow, 9 And lofty palm trees having fruit arranged in layers - 10 as a provision for human beings; and by [all] this We bring dead land to life. Such shall be the Resurrection. 11 The people of Noah denied before them, and the companions of the well and Thamud 12 And the tribe of A’ad, and Firaun, and the fellowmen of Lut. 13 The Companions of the Wood, and the People of Tubba'; each one (of them) rejected the messengers, and My warning was duly fulfilled (in them). 14 Were We then fatigued with the first creation? Yet are they in doubt with regard to a new creation. 15
