The Romans (Al-Room)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Alif-Lam-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings]. 1 The Romans have been defeated (by the Persians) 2 In the nearer land (Syria, Iraq, Jordan, and Palestine), and they, after their defeat, will be victorious. 3 Within a few years. With Allah is the Decision, in the past and in the Future: on that Day shall the Believers rejoice- 4 With the help of Allah; He helps whom He pleases; and He is the Mighty, the Merciful; 5 The promise of Allah! Allah does not fail His promise, yet most people do not know. 6 they know but the outer surface of this world's life, whereas of the ultimate things they are utterly unaware. 7 Have they not thought that God has not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them but for a genuine purpose to exist for an appointed term? Many people do not believe in their meeting with their Lord. 8 Have they not travelled in the earth and seen how was the end of those before them? They were stronger than these in prowess, and dug up the earth, and built on it in greater abundance than these have built on it, and there came to them their apostles with clear arguments; so it was not beseeming for Allah that He should deal with them unjustly, but they dealt unjustly with their own souls. 9 Then evil was the end of those who did evil, because they belied the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, Messengers, etc.) of Allah and made mock of them. 10

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
