Yet those who disbelieve say: When we have become dust like our fathers, shall we verily be brought forth (again)? 67 We were promised this, forsooth, we and our fathers. (All) this is naught but fables of the men of old. 68 Say thou: travel in the land and behold what like hath been the end of the culprits. 69 Do not sorrow for them, nor be thou straitened for what they devise. 70 They also say: "Tell us when this threat will come to pass, if you are truthful." 71 Say: "Perhaps that which you wish to hasten on, may be close behind you. 72 Surely thy Lord is bountiful to men; but most of them are not thankful. 73 Lo! thy Lord knoweth surely all that their bosoms hide, and all that they proclaim. 74 And there is nothing hidden in the heaven and the earth, but is in a Clear Book (i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 75 Surely, this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that which they are at variance. 76 and it is a guidance and mercy for the believers. 77 Surely thy Lord will decide between them by His Judgment; He is the All-mighty, the All-knowing. 78 Wherefore put thy trust in Allah; verily thou art on manifest truth. 79 Lo! thou canst not make the dead to hear, nor canst thou make the deaf to hear the call when they have turned to flee; 80 Nor can you lead the blind out of their error, you can only make to hear those who believe in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and who have submitted (themselves to Allah in Islam as Muslims). 81 ۞ And when the Word (of torment) is fulfilled against them, We shall bring out from the earth a beast to them, which will speak to them because mankind believed not with certainty in Our Ayat (Verses of the Quran and Prophet Muhammad SAW). 82
