Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 He raised its roof and made it proper. 28 And He made dark the night thereof, and He brought forth the morn thereof. 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 after that bringing forth from it its water and its pasture land, 31 and has made the mountains firm: 32 an enjoyment for you and your flocks. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 The Day when man will remember that for which he strove, 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 Then, for him who Tagha (transgressed all bounds, in disbelief, oppression and evil deeds of disobedience to Allah). 37 and prefers the life of this world, 38 The Abode will be Hell-Fire; 39 But as for him who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Verily, Paradise will be his abode. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 Wherein art thou concerned with the declaration thereof! 43 To your Lord is its finality. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear such a day. 45 The day they see it, it will seem they had stayed in the world but only an evening or its turning into dawn. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
