The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the chargers panting, 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
