And remember Our servant Ayyub, when he called upon his Lord: The Shaitan has afflicted me with toil and torment. 41 "Go swiftly to the spring," (We said). "This cold water is for bathing and for drinking." 42 And We granted to him his family and also the like of them, as a mercy from Us, and as a reminder to people of understanding, 43 [We said], "And take in your hand a bunch [of grass] and strike with it and do not break your oath." Indeed, We found him patient, an excellent servant. Indeed, he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allah]. 44 And remember Our servants, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - those of strength and [religious] vision. 45 Assuredly We purified them with a quality most pure, the remembrance of the Abode, 46 And in Our sight, they are indeed the chosen ones, the beloved. 47 And remember Isma'il (Ishmael), Al-Yasa'a (Elisha), and Dhul-Kifl (Isaiah), all are among the best. 48 This is an admonition, and verily for the God-fearing is a happy retreat: 49 Gardens of Eternity, whose doors will (ever) be open to them; 50 in which they will recline, and call for abundant fruit and drink therein. 51 ۞ And with them will be women limiting [their] glances and of equal age. 52 'This is what you were promised for the Day of Reckoning; 53 Lo! this in truth is Our provision, which will never waste away. 54 Yea, such! but - for the wrong-doers will be an evil place of (Final) Return!- 55 Hell!- they will burn therein, - an evil bed (indeed, to lie on)!- 56 Here is a boiling and an ice-cold draught, so let them taste it, 57 Taste the scalding water, pus, and other putrid things". 58 Here is an army rushing blindly with you. (Those who are already in the Fire say): No word of welcome for them. Lo! they will roast at the Fire. 59 (The followers of the misleaders will say): "Nay, you (too)! No welcome for you! It is you (misleaders) who brought this upon us (because you misled us in the world), so evil is this place to stay in!" 60 They say, “Our Lord! Whoever has brought this calamity upon us – double the punishment of the fire for him!” 61 And they will say, "How is it that we do not see [here any of the] men whom we used to count among the wicked, 62 [and] whom we made the target of our derision? Or is it that [they are here, and] our eyes have missed them?" 63 Verily all this is true. This is how the inmates of the Fire will dispute among themselves. 64
