Verily the tree of Zaqqum 43 Will be the food of the sinners, 44 like molten copper, bubbling in the belly 45 as boiling water bubbles. 46 “Seize him, and forcibly drag him right to the blazing fire.” 47 then pour boiling water over his head as chastisement. 48 (Saying): Taste! Lo! thou wast forsooth the mighty, the noble! 49 Indeed, this is what you used to dispute." 50 Indeed the pious are in a place of peace. 51 among gardens and springs, 52 dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, and they will face each other: 53 Even so (it will be). And We shall wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes. 54 In that [paradise] they shall [rightfully] claim all the fruits [of their past deeds,] resting in security; 55 Nor will they there taste Death, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire,- 56 As a Bounty from thy Lord! that will be the supreme achievement! 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 So be watchful, they too are watching. 59
