Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
YA SIN. 1 I call to witness the Qur'an, custodian of all laws, -- 2 you are indeed one of the messengers 3 on a straight path, 4 This is a revelation sent down from the Majestic and All-merciful 5 so that you may warn a people who are unaware because their fathers were not warned. 6 Certainly the word has proved true of most of them, so they do not believe. 7 We have indeed put shackles around their necks reaching up to the chins, so they remain facing upwards. 8 And We have set a wall before them and a wall behind them, and covered the top – so they are unable to see anything. 9 Alike it is to them whether thou hast warned them or thou hast not warned them, they do not believe. 10 You should only warn those who follow the Quran and have fear of the Beneficent God without seeing Him. Give them the glad news of their receiving forgiveness and an honorable reward (from God). 11 Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register. 12
