The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the sky with its constellations, 1 and [then bethink thyself of] the promised Day, 2 by the Witness and the witnessed, 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 [Containing] the fire full of fuel, 5 when they were seated around it 6 And they were witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 whom they hated for no other reason than that they believed in God, the Almighty, the Praiseworthy, 8 and the One to whom belongs the heavens and the earth. God is the Witness of all things. 9 Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire. 10 As for the righteously striving believers, they will live in Paradise wherein streams flow. This is the greatest triumph. 11 Indeed the seizure of your Lord is very severe. 12 He it is Who creates for the first time and He it is Who will create again, 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 Lord of the Throne, the Glorious, 15 The Doer of whatever He wants. 16 Has not there come to you the story of the hosts, 17 of Pharaoh and of Thamood? 18 Yet the unbelievers still belie, 19 But Allah doth encompass them from behind! 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Koran, 21 (Preserved) on the guarded tablet. 22
