Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the sky is split, 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 when the seas swarm over, 3 And the sepulchres are overturned, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 and composed thee after what form He would? 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 noble, recording, 11 who know whatever you do. 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 And indeed the sinners are in hell. 14 They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense, 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
