And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
