No affliction can befall man but by God's permission -- He guides the hearts of those who believe in Him: God has knowledge of all things -- 11 And obey Allah and obey His Noble Messenger; then if you turn away, know that the duty upon Our Noble Messenger is only to plainly convey. 12 Allah – there is none worthy of worship except Him; and only upon Allah must the Muslims rely. 13 Believers! [Even] among your wives and your children you have enemies: so beware of them. But if you overlook their offences and forgive and pardon them, then surely, God is most forgiving and merciful. 14 Your riches and your children may be but a trial: but in the Presence of Allah, is the highest, Reward. 15 So hold Allah in awe as much as you can, and listen and obey, and be charitable. This is for your own good. And whoever remains safe from his own greediness, it is such that will prosper. 16 If you lend to God a good loan, He will multiply it for you, and will forgive you. God is All-thankful, All-clement, 17 Knower of what is open, Exalted in Might, Full of Wisdom. 18
