۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 (Saying): "Verily! These indeed are but a small band. 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 And treasures and agreeable mansions. 58 and We made the Children of Israel inheritors of these bounties. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 [Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." 62 Then We revealed to Moses, 'Strike with thy staff the sea'; and it clave, and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
