Say, [Prophet], "I am only a warner. There is no god but God, the One, the All-Powerful, 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- Exalted in Might, able to enforce His Will, forgiving again and again." 66 Say, “That is a great tidings.” 67 but you have turned away from it. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Council when they disputed. 69 It has not been revealed to me except that I am a clear warner." 70 [For,] lo, thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down making obeisance to him. 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them: 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 He said, "I am better than him. You have created me from fire and him out of clay". 76 The Lord said, "Get out of here. You deserve to be stoned! 77 Upon thee shall rest My curse, till the Day of Doom.' 78 He said: My Lord! then respite me to the day that they are raised. 79 He (Allah) said: 'You are among those that are respited 80 Until the Day of the time appointed. 81 He said: by Thy majesty, then, I shall surely seduce them, all. 82 Except, among them, Your chosen servants." 83 [And God] said: "This, then, is the truth! And this truth do I state: 84 That I shall fill Hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together. 85 Say: "I do not ask any compensation of you for it, nor am I a specious pretender. 86 "This is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds. 87 You will come to know its truth in time." 88
