Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Have you seen the one who calls the religion a lie? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), 2 and who does not urge the feeding of the poor? 3 Woe, therefore, unto such performers of prayer. 4 but are heedless in their Prayers, 5 Who do (good) to be seen, 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
