O Prophet! Tell thy wives and thy daughters, as well as all [other] believing women, that they should draw over themselves some of their outer garments [when in public]: this will be more conducive to their being recognized [as decent women] and not annoyed. But [withal,] God is indeed much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace! 59 ۞ If the hypocrites and those in whose hearts there is a sickness, and the scandal mongers in Madinah do not desist from their vile acts, We shall urge you to take action against them, and then they will hardly be able to stay in the city with you. 60 Cursed: wherever they are found they shall be seized and murdered, a (horrible) murdering. 61 Such has been the way of Allah with those who have passed before them, and you shall find no change in the ways of Allah. 62 The people will ask you about the Hour. Say: 'The knowledge of it is with Allah alone, what makes you to know that the Hour is near' 63 Allah has indeed cursed the disbelievers, and has kept prepared for them a blazing fire. 64 In which they will remain forever; in it they will find neither a protector nor any supporter. 65 On the day when their faces shall be turned back into the fire, they shall say: O would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Apostle! 66 They will say: "O our Lord, we obeyed our leaders and the elders, but they only led us astray. 67 Our Lord, give them double the punishment and curse them with a great curse." 68
