It is He who produced for you hearing, and eyes, and hearts; little thanks you show. 78 And He it is Who spread you on the earth, and unto Him ye will be gathered. 79 He is the One who gives life and causes death and He controls the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 But they say the same as the ancients said, 81 They say, “Will we, when we die and turn into dust and bones, be raised again?” 82 Our fathers and we have been given such promises before. These are no more than ancient legends." 83 Ask them: "Whose is the earth and those who are in it? Tell us if you know" 84 They will say: Allah's. Say: Will you not then mind? 85 Say: "Who is it that sustains the seven heavens and is enthroned in His awesome almightiness?" 86 Thereupon they will say, “Such greatness is only that of Allah”; say, “So why do you not fear?” 87 Say: "In whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things, and who is it that protects, the while there is no protection against Him? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 88 'Allah' they will reply. Say: 'How then can you be so bewitched' 89 No, We have brought the truth to them, but they are liars. 90 No son (or offspring or children) did Allah beget, nor is there any ilah (god) along with Him; (if there had been many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have tried to overcome others! Glorified be Allah above all that they attribute to Him! 91 All-Knower of the unseen and the seen! Exalted be He over all that they associate as partners to Him! 92
