Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the winds that scatter the dust, 1 And those [clouds] carrying a load [of water] 2 then the easy runners (the ships); 3 And those who distribute (blessings) by command, 4 surely that you are promised is true, 5 And lo! the judgment will indeed befall. 6 By the heaven full of paths, 7 You are surely caught in contradictions., 8 Turned aside therefrom (i.e. from Muhammad SAW and the Quran) is he who is turned aside (by the Decree and Preordainment of Allah). 9 Doomed are the conjecturers 10 and who wander in the abyss of confusion. 11 They ask: When is the Day of Judgment? 12 Upon the day when they shall be tried at the Fire: 13 and will be told, "Suffer the torment which you wanted to experience immediately". 14 Verily, the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) will be in the midst of Gardens and Springs (in the Paradise), 15 Taking joy in the things which their Lord has given them. Verily, they were before this Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 16 They used to sleep but little of the night, 17 And every morning asked forgiveness, 18 and in their wealth there was a rightful share for him who would ask and for the destitute. 19 There are signs in the earth for those who are firm in their faith, 20 And within yourselves. Can you not perceive? 21 And in heaven is your provision and also what you are being promised. 22 By the Lord of the heaven and the earth it is sure, even as it is a fact that ye are speaking. 23

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
