Al-Zukhruf 4 of 7

And whoever is averse to the Remembrance of the Most Gracious, We appoint a devil upon him, who stays with him. 36 And verily they hinder them from the way, whilst they deem that they are rightly guided. 37 But when he comes to Us, he will say (to his satan): “Would that there had been between me and you the distance as between the East and the West. How evil a companion you were!” 38 But nothing will avail you on that day, for you were unjust, and you will be partners in the punishment. 39 Can you make the deaf to hear, or show the blind, and those lost in clear error, the way? 40 We shall punish them whether We take you away, 41 or We shall show you what We have promised them; for surely We have complete power over them. 42 So hold fast to what has been revealed to you. You are truly on the right path. 43 It is a (source) of greatness for you and your people. You will surely be questioned about it. 44 Inquire of apostles We had sent before you if We appointed gods to be worshipped other than Ar-Rahman. 45
