When Your Lord told Moses to go to the unjust people of the Pharaoh 10 the people of Pharaoh, who refuse to be conscious of Me!" 11 He said: "My Lord! Verily, I fear that they will belie me, 12 And that my breast will tighten and my tongue will not be fluent, so send for Aaron. 13 They hold a sin against me, and I fear that they will kill me' 14 [Allah] said, "No. Go both of you with Our signs; indeed, We are with you, listening. 15 go both to Pharaoh and both of you say to him: 'We are (each) a Messenger from the Lord of all the Worlds. 16 Send forth with us the Children of Israel' 17 He said, 'Did we not raise thee amongst us as a child? Didst thou not tarry among us years of thy life? 18 and you did the deed which you did. You are certainly ungrateful." 19 Musa (Moses) said: "I did it then, when I was an ignorant (as regards my Lord and His Message). 20 and I fled from you because I feared you. Then my Lord granted me wisdom and made me one of the messengers. 21 "And this is the favour with which thou dost reproach me,- that thou hast enslaved the Children of Israel!" 22 The Pharaoh asked, "Who is the Lord of the Universe?" 23 Moses answered: "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them, if you were only to believe." 24 Said Firaun to those around him, “Are you not listening with attention?” 25 Moses said: "(He is) Your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers of yore." 26 The Pharaoh said, "The Messenger who has been sent to you is certainly insane". 27 He said: Lord of the East and the West and all that is between them, if ye did but understand. 28 (The Pharaoh) said: "If you took another god apart from me I will have you incarcerated." 29 and Moses asked, "Even if I show you a clear sign?" 30 Said he, 'Bring it then, if thou art of the truthful.' 31 So he cast down his rod, and lo! it was an obvious serpent, 32 And he drew out his hand, and it appeared [shining] white to the beholders. 33
