And indeed We created towers in the skies, and beautified it for the beholders. 16 and guarded them from every stoned satan. 17 Except him (devil) that gains hearing by stealing, he is pursued by a clear flaming fire. 18 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers, and made all things grow upon it balanced evenly. 19 and there appointed for you is a livelihood, and for those you do not provide. 20 And there is not a thing, but with Us are the stores thereof. And We send it not down except in a known measure. 21 And We sent the winds that relieve the clouds’ burden, therefore caused water to descend from the sky, then give it to you to drink; and you are not at all its treasurers. 22 It is We who give life, and make to die, and it is We who are the inheritors. 23 To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind. 24 Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: for He is perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge. 25
