The people of Aykah also gave the lie to the Messengers. 176 When Shu'ayb said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 177 I am a trustworthy Messengers. 178 So fear Allah and obey me. 179 I ask of you no reward for this. My reward is with none but the Lord of the Universe. 180 ۞ Give a full measure and be not of those who diminish; 181 "And weigh with scales true and upright. 182 And do not wrong men of their things, and do not act corruptly in the earth, making mischief. 183 Fear He who created you, and the generations of the ancient' 184 They replied: 'You are surely one of those bewitched. 185 “You are just a human like us, and indeed we consider you a liar.” 186 Therefore cause a portion of the heaven to come down upon us, if you are one of the truthful. 187 (Shu'aib) said: "My Lord knows well what you are doing." 188 In response they denied him – therefore the punishment of the day of the tent* seized them; that was indeed a punishment of a Great Day. (The clouds formed a tent and rained fire upon them). 189 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not Muslims. 190 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 191
