Nay, by the Moon 32 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 33 And [by] the morning when it brightens, 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 it is a warning to man, 36 to everyone of you, whether he chooses to come forward or to hang back! 37 Every soul will be in captivity for its deeds 38 Save those who will stand on the right hand. 39 Sitting in the gardens, asking 40 Concerning the culprits: 41 "What led you into Hell Fire?" 42 They will reply: 'We were not among those who prayed 43 and we did not feed the poor, 44 “And used to dwell on evil matters with those who think evilly.” 45 and rejected the Day of Judgment 46 Till the Inevitable came unto us. 47 So the intercession of intercessors shall not avail them. 48 Then what is the matter with them that they turn away from admonition?- 49 As if they were affrighted asses, 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Nay; every one of them desires that he may be given pages spread out; 52 Never! In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay! it is surely an admonition. 54 Let anyone who seeks guidance do so. 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
