Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Say: 'I take refuge with the Lord of Daybreak 1 From the evil of that which He created; 2 from the evil of night's darkness when it spreads around; 3 from the evil of the blowers on knots; 4 and from the evil of the envious ones. 5

True are the words of God the Almighty.
