Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense? 1 It is he who pusheth away the orphan, 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the needy. 3 Woe to the worshippers 4 Who are neglectful of their prayers, 5 Who dissimulate 6 And refuse Al-Ma'un (small kindnesses e.g. salt, sugar, water, etc.). 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
