And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
