The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 And the earth brings forth her burdens, 2 And man says: What has befallen her? 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. 6 So, whoever does an atom's weight of good shall see it; 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
