Al-Layl
The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the Night as it conceals (the light); 1 and by the day when it unveils. 2 and by that (Power) which created the male and female, 3 Indeed, your efforts are diverse. 4 For him that gives and fears (Allah) 5 And believes in the best [reward], 6 We shall facilitate for him the Way to Bliss. 7 But he who is greedy miser and thinks himself self-sufficient. 8 And gives the lie to Al-Husna (see Verse No: 6 footnote); 9 We will make smooth for him the path for evil; 10 And what will his wealth benefit him when he goes down (in destruction). 11 Lo! Ours it is (to give) the guidance 12 and to Us belong the Next Life and the present. 13 So I have warned you of a Fire which is blazing. 14 None shall reach it but those most unfortunate ones 15 who gives the lie to the truth and turns away [from it]. 16 But the God-fearing shall be kept away from it, 17 He who gives his wealth to be purified, 18 And none hath with him any favour for reward, 19 seeking only the Face of his Lord, the Most High, 20 and before long he will be well satisfied. 21
God the Almighty always says the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
