The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 He said, 'What knowledge have I of that they have been doing? 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 Hence, I shall not drive away [any of] those [who profess to be] believers; 114 I am naught but a warner manifest. 115 They said: if thou desistest not, thou shalt surely be of those stoned. 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 therefore, judge decisively between me and them; and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
