Al-Hijjr 4 of 6

Verily those who keep away from evil and follow the straight path shall be in the midst of gardens and springs of water. 45 Enter therein in peace, secure. 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 Toil shall not afflict them in it, nor shall they be ever ejected from it. 48 ۞ Tell My servants I am the All-forgiving, the All-compassionate, 49 And that it is My punishment which is the painful punishment. 50 And inform them about the guests of Abraham, 51 when they came to him they greeted him with: "Peace." He said,"We feel afraid of you." 52 They said: Be not afraid! Lo! we bring thee good tidings of a boy possessing wisdom. 53 He said: 'What is this, do you bring me glad tidings even though I am old' Of what do you give me glad tidings' 54 They said: "The good tiding we give you is of truth. Do not, therefore, be of those who despair." 55 He said: And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord but the erring ones? 56 He added: "What is your errand O sent ones?" 57 They said: verily we have been sent unto a people guilty 58 excepting the household of Lot. We shall deliver all of them, 59 But not his wife; we have decreed that she will be of those staying behind. 60
