3/4 Hizb 37
< random >
۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 And indeed, we are a cautious society... " 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 [Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." 62 Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We brought near thither the others. 64 And We saved Moosa and all those with him. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 68
