What, are you harder to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 High has He reared its vault and formed it in accordance with what it was meant to be; 28 And He made dark the night thereof, and He brought forth the morn thereof. 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 And brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture; 31 And the mountains! He established them firm: 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),- 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 Then he who had been rebellious 37 And preferred the worldly life, 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires, and lusts. 40 paradise will truly be the goal! 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 What concern do you have to speak about that? 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth. 45 The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or a morning. 46
