Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By those [winds] sent forth in gusts 1 And by the winds that blow violently, 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 And those [angels] who bring criterion 4 And those that bring down the Reminder 5 By way of excuse or warning. 6 Indeed what you are promised, will surely befall. 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 and the sky is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are carried away as dust, 10 and the appointed time to bring the Messengers together arrives, (then shall the promised event come to pass). 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 and make others settle after them in their land? 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Did We not create you out of a humble fluid 20 And We placed it in a firm lodging 21 for an appointed time? 22 We determined; excellent determiners are We. 23 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 24 Did We not make the earth as a gathering place 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 as black camels. 33 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 37 Such is the Day of Decision. We will gather you with the ancients. 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
