The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 Who determines and directs, 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
