Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 Who determines and directs, 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
