▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by Mawaqi (setting or the mansions, etc.) of the stars (they traverse). 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Is it such a talk (this Quran) that you (disbelievers) deny? 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 Why can you not help a soul dying 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 - And We are nearer unto him than ye are, but ye see not - 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 So if he is one of those who are near-stationed (to Allah), 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 And if he is from the deniers, the astray, – 92 its dwelling will be boiling water 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
