Say: "O my Lord! if Thou wilt show me (in my lifetime) that which they are warned against,- 93 do not, O my Sustainer, let me be one of those evildoing folk!" 94 And indeed We are Able to show you the promise they are given. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best Aware of that which they allege. 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I seek refuge in You from evil suggestions of the satans. 97 "And I seek refuge with You, My Lord! lest they may attend (or come near) me." 98 (But the unbelievers will persist) until when death comes to one of them he will say: "O Lord, send me back again 99 so that I might act righteously in whatever I have failed [aforetime]!" Nay, it is indeed but a [meaningless] word that he utters: for behind those [who leave the world] there is a barrier [of death] until the Day when all will be raised from the dead! 100 And then no sooner the Trumpet is blown than there will remain no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask one another. 101 And those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] - it is they who are the successful. 102 And the ones whose scales prove light it is they who put their lives into ruin, remaining in hell forever. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they therein shall be in severe affliction. 104 “Were not My verses recited to you, so you used to deny them?” 105 They will say: our Lord! our wretchedness overcame us, and we have been a people erring. 106 Our Lord, bring us out of it. If we return (to sin), then we shall indeed be harmdoers' 107 He will say: 'Slink there in it and do not speak to Me' 108 There was a group of my servants among you who always prayed: Lord, forgive us and grant us mercy; You are the best of those who show mercy. 109 But you took them for a laughingstock, so much so that they made you forget My Remembrance while you used to laugh at them! 110 I have rewarded them this day for they were constant, and they have come to attainment." 111 God will ask them, "How many years did you live in your graves?" 112 They will say: "A day or less than a day. Ask the enumerators of numbers." 113 He will say: "You stayed only for a while, if you only knew that. 114 Do you think We created you for nothing, and that you will not return to Us?" 115 So, exalted be Allah, the True King! There is no god but He, the Lord of the Great Throne. 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 And say thou: my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones. 118
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
