The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the Striking? 2 Would that you knew what the Clatterer is! 3 [It will occur] on the Day when men will be like moths swarming in confusion, 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy, 6 He will live a pleasant life. 7 whereas he whose weight is light in the balance 8 His dwelling shall be the Abyss. 9 And what shall make thee know that which she is? 10 A fire hotly burning! 11
