Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you 1 even till you visit the tombs. 2 Nay! You shall come to know! 3 Again, Nay! You shall come to know! 4 No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty... 5 You have indeed to behold Hell; 6 In the end you will indeed, most surely, behold it with the eye of certainty: 7 Then, shall ye be questioned that Day about the joy (ye indulged in!). 8

Almighty Allah's Truth.
