The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The Striking! 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 What shall Make thee know that which the Striking is? 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 And mountains will be like flying wool. 5 Then as for him whose balances are heavy, 6 will have a most pleasing life. 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 He is in the lap of one that abases. 9 And what shall teach thee what is the Pit? 10 It is a burning Fire. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
