Al-Hijjr 6 of 6
Surely the people of al-Hijr also rejected the Messengers, calling them liars. 80 We also gave them Our Signs, yet they turned away from them. 81 They used to hew dwellings in the mountains to live in security. 82 and so the blast [of Our punishment] overtook them at early morn, 83 Therefore their earnings did not in the least benefit them. 84 And We have not created the heaven and the earth and that which is in between them save with a purpose. And verily the Hour is surely coming; so overlook thou with a seemly overlooking, 85 Surely your Lord is the Creator and knows (everything). 86 We have given you the seven dual (verses, Al Fatihah) and the Mighty Holy Reading (Koran). 87 Do not yearn for other people's property and wives and do not grieve (that they do not believe). Be kind to the believers. 88 and say, 'Surely, I am the manifest warner.' 89 Even as We sent down on the dividers 90 Who have made the Qur'an into portions. 91 Now by thy Lord, We shall surely question them all together 92 for what they have done 93 Then declare what you are commanded and turn away from the polytheists. 94 Truly! We will suffice you against the scoffers. 95 Who place other gods besides God. They will come to know soon. 96 And indeed We know that you are disheartened by their speech. 97 Exalt with the praise of your Lord and be one of those who prostrate. 98 Worship your Lord until you achieve the ultimate certainty. 99
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
