۞ I do not need to swear by the setting of the stars 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 Wherefore then - when the soul cometh up to the wind-pipe 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 it will have rest, happiness, and a beautiful Paradise. 89 And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand, 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 Then the welcome will be boiling water 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
