Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By those that winnow with a winnowing 1 And those [clouds] carrying a load [of water] 2 and those that speed along with gentle ease, 3 And those [angels] apportioning [each] matter, 4 Verily that which ye are promised is true; 5 And verily, the Recompense is sure to happen. 6 By the heaven full of paths. 7 Indeed, you are in differing speech. 8 perverted in his views thereon is he who would deceive himself! 9 Accursed be the conjecturers 10 Who are careless in an abyss! 11 They ask, "When will be the Day of Judgment and Justice?" 12 It will be the Day when they shall be scourged by the Fire 13 (and be told): “Taste your ordeal! This is what you were seeking to hasten.” 14 Indeed the pious are among Gardens and water springs. 15 receiving what their Lord will give them because before this they were gooddoers. 16 they would lie asleep during but a small part of the night, 17 and in the mornings they would ask for forgiveness; 18 And in their substance was the right of the beggar and non-beggar. 19 And on the earth there are signs for those who would be convinced. 20 just as [there are signs thereof] within your own selves: can you not, then, see? 21 And in the heaven is your provision, and that which you are promised. 22 By the Lord of the heavens and the earth, this is certainly true even as you speak. 23

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
