The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

The Striking! 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is! 3 It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, 4 and mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then, the one whose good deeds weigh heavy on the scales, 6 He is therefore in the desired bliss. 7 but he whose deeds weigh light in the Balance 8 His refuge will be an abyss. 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 A Fire vehemently hot! 11
