We have indeed set constellations in the heavens and have beautified them for the beholders, 16 and have protected them against every accursed satan 17 Except the ones who listen on the sly, yet they are chased away by a shooting flame. 18 And the earth! We have stretched it out and have cast thereon mountains firm, and We have caused to spring up thereon everything weighed. 19 and there appointed for you livelihood, and for those you provide not for. 20 For, no single thing exists that does not have its source with Us; and nought do We bestow from on high unless it be in accordance with a measure well-defined. 21 And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. 22 It is We who give life and We who give death, and We are the One who will abide. 23 And indeed We know those among you who came forward and indeed We know those among you who remained behind. 24 Your Lord will resurrect them all; He is All-wise and All-knowing. 25
