The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun shall be folded up, 1 And when the stars fall, dispersing, 2 and the mountains have been taken, 3 the young barren camels are abandoned, 4 And when the wild beasts are gathered 5 When the oceans surge and swell, 6 And when the souls are paired. 7 and when the girl-child buried alive shall be asked: 8 For what sin she was killed? 9 when the scrolls are unrolled, 10 And when the heaven shall be stripped, 11 And when the hell is kindled up, 12 And Paradise brought near, 13 (Then) every soul will know what it hath made ready. 14 I swear by the receding stars. 15 The planets withdrawing into themselves, 16 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 17 and the morning when it extends, 18 Verily, this is the Word (this Quran brought by) a most honourable messenger [Jibrael (Gabriel), from Allah to the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him)]. 19 having power, with the Lord of the Throne secure, 20 there he is obeyed and held trustworthy. 21 And (O people!) your companion is not one possessed; 22 Assuredly he beheld him in the horizon manifest. 23 And Muhammad is not a withholder of [knowledge of] the unseen. 24 Nor is it the word of an evil spirit accursed. 25 Whither then go ye? 26 This is a reminder for all the peoples of the world, 27 For the one among you who wishes to become upright. 28 And you do not please except that Allah please, the Lord of the worlds. 29
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
