Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 He raised high its height, then put it into a right good state. 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And the earth! thereafter He stretched it out. 30 produced water and grass therefrom, 31 and making the mountains firm: 32 All this was done as a means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 33 Then, when the Great Catastrophe comes 34 on that Day man will [clearly] remember all that he has ever wrought; 35 And Hell-Fire shall be placed in full view for (all) to see,- 36 For, unto him who shall have transgressed the bounds of what is right, 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires, and lusts. 40 Their abode will be the Garden. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 In what [position] are you that you should mention it? 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 Thou art but [sent] to warn those who stand in awe of it. 45 The day when they will see it, it will seem as if they had not stayed on earth except for an evening or its morning. 46
