Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And We have placed within the heaven great stars and have beautified it for the observers. 16 And We have guarded it (near heaven) from every outcast Shaitan (devil). 17 But he who steals a hearing, so there follows him a visible flame. 18 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers, and made all things grow upon it balanced evenly. 19 And created livelihoods for you in it, and created those for whom you do not provide the sustenance. 20 And there is not a thing but that with Us are its depositories, and We do not send it down except according to a known measure. 21 We send impregnating winds and send down water from the sky for you to drink and you have no (control over its) storage. 22 It is We who give life and We who give death, and We are the One who will abide. 23 We know the people who lived before you and those who will come into existence after you. 24 and, behold, it is thy Sustainer who will gather them all together [on Judgment Day]: verily, He is Wise, All-Knowing! 25
