۞ Surely We had bestowed wisdom upon Abraham even earlier, and We knew him well. 51 When he said to his father and his people, "What are these statues to which you are devoted?" 52 They said: We found our fathers worshippers of them. 53 Abraham said, "Indeed, you and your fathers have been clearly misguided." 54 They said, “Have you brought the Truth to us, or are you just making fun?” 55 He answered: "Nay, but your [true] Sustainer is the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth - He who has brought them into being: and I am one of those who bear witness to this [truth]!" 56 And by Allah I shall surely devise a plot against your idols after ye turned away backward. 57 So he broke them to pieces, (all) but the biggest of them, that they might turn (and address themselves) to it. 58 [When they saw what had happened,] they said: "Who has done this to our gods? Verily, one of the worst wrongdoers is he!" 59 Some of them said, "We heard a youth called Abraham speaking against the idols". 60 They said, 'Bring him before the people's eyes; haply they shall bear witness.' 61 They said, 'So, art thou the man who did this unto our gods, Abraham?' 62 He said, "Rather, this - the largest of them - did it, so ask them, if they should [be able to] speak." 63 They then turned to themselves, and said: verily ye it is who are the wrong-doers. 64 Then they reversed themselves, [saying], "You have already known that these do not speak!" 65 He said, 'What, and do you serve, apart from God, that which profits you nothing; neither hurts you? 66 Shame on you and on that you worship other than Allah! Have you no understanding' 67 They said, 'Burn him, and help your gods, if you would do aught.' 68 We said: O fire! be a comfort and peace to Ibrahim; 69 Then they sought a stratagem against him: but We made them the ones that lost most! 70 And We saved him and Lot [and brought them] to a land which We had blessed for all people, 71 And We bestowed him Ishaq, and Yaqub the grandson; and We made all of them worthy of Our proximity. 72 And We made them leaders, guiding (mankind) by Our Command, and We inspired in them the doing of good deeds, performing Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and the giving of Zakat and of Us (Alone) they were worshippers. 73 To Lot, We gave judgment and knowledge and saved him from the village that had been committing corrupt deeds; for they were an evil nation and were debauched. 74 And We admitted him into Our mercy. Verily he was of the righteous. 75

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
