T H (Taa Haa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Ha.* (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) (Alphabets of the Arabic language – Allah and to whomever He reveals know their precise meanings.) 1 We have not revealed the Quran to you that you may be unsuccessful. 2 Nay, it is a reminder to him who fears: 3 it is a revelation from Him who has created the earth and the high heavens, 4 The ever-merciful, established on the throne (of authority). 5 His is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth and what is between them two and what is beneath the ground. 6 If thou pronounce the word aloud, (it is no matter): for verily He knoweth what is secret and what is yet more hidden. 7 Allah - there is no deity except Him. To Him belong the best names. 8 Hast thou received the story of Moses? 9 When he saw a fire, he said to his family, "Wait here. I can see a fire. Perhaps I can bring you a brand from it, or find some guidance at the fire." 10 And when he came to it, he was called, "O Moses, 11 I am thy Lord; put off thy shoes; thou art in the holy valley, Towa. 12 I Myself have chosen thee; therefore give thou ear to this revelation. 13 Verily I am Allah. There is no god beside Me. So serve Me and establish Prayers to remember Me. 14 The Hour is coming. But I choose to keep it hidden, so that every human being may be recompensed in accordance with his labours. 15 So let not him who believeth not therein and followeth his own desire keep thee away therefrom lest thou perish. 16 And what is that in thy right hand, O Moses? 17 He said, "It is my rod: on it I lean; with it I beat down fodder for my flocks; and in it I find other uses." 18 (Allah) said, "Throw it, O Moses!" 19 So he cast it down, and lo! it was a serpent running along. 20 Said He: "Take hold of it, and fear not: We shall restore it to its former state. 21 "Now place thy hand within thy armpit: it will come forth [shining] white, without blemish, as another sign [of Our grace,] 22 This We have done to show you some of Our greater miracles. 23 “Go to Firaun, he has rebelled.” 24
